External Diseases

This term refers to disorders of the cornea and conjunctiva of the eyes. In addition to simple “pink-eye” (a virus infection), there are bacterial infections, ulcerations, dry eyes and the like. Most of these are not serious, but some are. The distinction can only be made by a competent eye doctor.

At ESA we have treated literally thousands of patients with a wide variety of Cornea and External Disease issues.
